Let's begin (A23)

Bonjour à toutes et à tous! Ca va? J’espère que oui. Bon, aujourd’hui il pleut ici à Hakodate. Mais moi, j’aime bien ça car quand je n’ai pas besoin de sortir je peux apprécier le bruit de la pluie. Pourtant, quand j’ai besoin de sortir, c’est une autre histoire.

Hier, des amis m’ont invite chez eux à dîner. Leur fille est rentrée d’Osaka et elle voulait me voir; ça faisait longtemps qu’on ne s’était pas vus et sa mère a préparé un très bon repas. On a parlé et bu pendant 4 ou 5 heures. J’ai passé un très bon moment chez eux. La prochaine fois où elle rentrera elle me présentera son mari qui est né à Osaka. Il ne parle ni anglais ni français, alors j’espère que je comprendrai son dialecte d’Osaka.

Ce matin j’ai lu un peu et préparé un cours. Récemment, j’essaie de lire avant toutes les autres choses, sinon, souvent, je ne peux rien lire de la journée. Mais maintenant ça va très bien. Je lis beaucoup d’articles trouvés sur le siteweb du journal de JALT. C’est vraiment intéressant et ça me donne de nouvelles idées.

Bon, je dois vous laisser, mais avant ça, voici le morceau de cette semaine. En fait, c’est un morceau que j’ai déjà posté ici, mais je voulais le réenregistrer car je trouvais que la qualité du chant du premier enregistrement n’était pas très bonne. De plus, ça me permet aussi de le travailler. Je devrais essayer de travailler tous mes moreceaux car j’en ai un tas sur mon blog et beaucoup plus sur mon ordinateur mais je ne prends presque jamais le temps de les travailler et si je veux jouer en direct je devrai m’exercer. En tout cas, le voilà! Ca s’appelle, Let’s begin. A+

Hello everyone, how are you ? I hope well. Well, today it’s raining in Hakodate. I like it though because when I don’t have to go out, I like to listen to the sound of the rain, but when I do have to go out, it’s another story.

Yesterday, some friends invited me to their house for dinner. Their daughter came back from Osaka and she wanted to see me; it had been a long time since we had seen each other and her mother made a very nice dinner. We talked and drank for about 4 or 5 hours. I had a really nice time at their place. The next time she comes back she will introduce me to her husband who was born in Osaka. He doesn’t speak English or French, so I hope I can understand his Osaka dialect.

This morning I read a little and prepared for a class. Recently, I try to read before doing the other things I have to do because if I don’t, often, I’m not able to read anything that day. But now, it’s going well. I’m reading a lot of articles that I’ve found on the JALT journal website. They are really interesting and they’ve given me some new ideas.

Well, I have to go, but before I do, here is the song for this week. Actually, it’s a song that I’ve already posted here, but I wanted to re-record it because I found that the quality of the vocals of the first recording was not so good. What’s more, it gives me a chance to practice the song. I should try to practice all of my songs because I have so many on my blog and many more on my computer and if I want to play live, I will have to practice. Well, anyway, here it is.
